Rive allows you to animate the draw order of a file to create some unique effects. This process uses Draw Rules to place the desired group or shape above or below another.
To animate the Draw Order, you'll first need to set up some Draw Rules. To do this, start by selecting the shape or group you want to animate then hit the plus button next to Draw Order in the Inspector.
You'll notice that this creates two draw rules, the normal rule as well as a customizable Draw Rule. The normal Draw Rule will tell your shape or group to adhere to the Draw Order listed in the Hierarchy, while the customizable Draw Rule will allow you to target a shape and choose whether it is rendered below or above the target.
You can add as many Draw Rules as you'd like to a group or shape.
